What SafeResponses can check

Start here if you are unsure whether your situation fits the service.
What can SafeResponses check?

SafeResponses can review suspicious texts, emails, links, websites, phone numbers, voicemails, social-media messages, online sellers, marketplace offers, job offers, invoices, payment requests, rental offers, investment pitches, and other online situations. If your concern does not fit a category, choose General Review and explain what happened.

Can you tell me if a text message or email is a scam?

We examine the wording, sender information, links, requested action, urgency, impersonation signs, and other evidence you provide. The result explains the risk level, warning signs, unknowns, and safer next steps. No review can guarantee that a message is safe or fraudulent.

Can SafeResponses check a suspicious website or link before I click it?

Yes. Submit the complete link without opening it. Our review can examine the destination, HTTPS status, domain registration details when available, naming mismatches, unusual domain patterns, DNS information, and Google Web Risk results. A clean reputation result does not prove a website is safe.

Can you check a phone number or suspicious call?

Yes. Provide the phone number, what the caller claimed, the time of the call, and any voicemail or message. Available checks may identify country, carrier, line type, formatting, and other technical clues. Caller ID can be spoofed, so a number alone cannot prove who called.

Can you verify an online seller or Facebook Marketplace listing?

We can review seller messages, profile or listing links, screenshots, payment requests, pricing, pressure tactics, copied-looking descriptions, and attempts to move the conversation off-platform. We cannot guarantee that a seller is legitimate or conduct a formal background investigation.

Can you check whether a job offer or recruiter is legitimate?

Yes. Send the recruiter email, company name, job post, offer letter, salary details, requested payment or equipment purchase, and any links. We look for domain mismatches, fake-check patterns, unusual hiring steps, requests for money, and other job-scam warning signs.

Can you check a payment request before I send money?

Yes. SafeResponses can review the recipient, reason for payment, payment method, invoice changes, screenshots, and surrounding messages. Gift cards, cryptocurrency, wire transfers, Zelle, and friends-and-family payments can be difficult to reverse, so do not send money while you are uncertain.

02

How the review works

What happens after you share the situation.
What is the difference between Quick Check and Full Evidence Check?

Both use the same review system and count as one review. Quick Check collects the essentials for a straightforward message, link, screenshot, or phone number. Full Evidence Check asks more guided questions and is better for complicated, high-value, or multi-step situations.

Does SafeResponses use AI?

Technology assists with organizing evidence, detecting patterns, and preparing a structured analysis. Customer-facing guidance is designed for accountable review rather than an unverified chatbot answer. SafeResponses does not describe technology output as certainty.

Is every response reviewed by a human?

The service is built around human oversight. Automated checks can gather technical signals and prepare a draft, while the owner dashboard allows evidence, limitations, and customer guidance to be reviewed before an approved response is sent. Service status and plan details shown at submission apply.

What will my SafeResponses report include?

A response normally includes an overall risk level, the strongest warning signs, what could and could not be verified, relevant technical findings, recommended next steps, and safer ways to verify the claim independently.

How quickly will I receive an answer?

Timing depends on demand, evidence quality, and whether the situation needs human attention. Do not wait for SafeResponses if money, an account, physical safety, evidence, or a deadline is in immediate danger.

What if SafeResponses cannot identify the sender or website?

The report should label the result as unverified instead of inventing an identity. Unknown does not mean safe. You will receive practical steps for checking through an official app, website, phone number, marketplace, employer, bank, or other independent channel.

03

Privacy, safety, and urgent situations

Protect yourself before uploading evidence or taking action.
Is it safe to upload a suspicious screenshot?

Remove passwords, verification codes, full card or account numbers, government identifiers, medical information, home addresses, identity documents, and unrelated private conversations first. Upload only evidence you are authorized to share.

What information should I remove before submitting?

Remove login credentials, one-time codes, Social Security or national identification numbers, complete financial numbers, seed phrases, private keys, medical records, identity documents, and personal information that is not necessary for the review.

Does SafeResponses open suspicious links or download files?

Submitted URLs are handled as evidence and technical lookups are designed to avoid casually browsing a potentially dangerous destination. Do not click the link yourself. Unsafe files, executable programs, and malware must not be uploaded.

Can SafeResponses guarantee that something is safe?

No. Scammers change tactics, reputation databases can be incomplete, accounts can be compromised, and evidence may be missing. A low-risk or clean result is not a guarantee. Important decisions should be verified independently through official contact information.

What should I do if I already clicked a suspicious link?

Stop interacting with the page. If you entered a password, change it from a trusted device and enable multi-factor authentication. Contact the affected company through its official app or website. If you downloaded something, disconnect the device when appropriate and seek qualified technical help.

What should I do if I already paid a scammer?

Contact the bank, card issuer, payment application, exchange, or wire provider immediately using an official number and ask about stopping or disputing the transaction. Preserve messages and receipts. Report fraud to the appropriate authorities. SafeResponses cannot freeze or recover funds.

Is SafeResponses an emergency, law-enforcement, legal, or financial service?

No. SafeResponses provides educational risk guidance. It cannot secure accounts, remove malware, recover money, investigate crimes, provide legal representation, or replace emergency services, law enforcement, banks, attorneys, or qualified security professionals.

04

Pricing, accounts, and access

How reviews, plans, and devices work.
Is SafeResponses free?

A qualifying new customer can use the complimentary review displayed on the pricing page. After that, a Quick Check or Full Evidence Check uses one available paid review from a single purchase or an active plan allowance.

Is Quick Check a separate free service?

No. Quick Check only shortens the intake form. It uses the same review allowance and does not receive a lower-quality analysis.

Can I use SafeResponses on my phone or computer?

Yes. SafeResponses is a responsive web service for modern phones, tablets, Windows computers, and Macs. On supported devices, it can also be installed to the home screen as a progressive web app while the regular website remains available.

Do customers need a ChatGPT account?

No. Customer access is designed around email and supported Google sign-in. Customers do not need to sign in with ChatGPT to purchase or use the SafeResponses service on the public domain.

How do I cancel a weekly, monthly, or annual plan?

Use the customer billing portal linked from your account to manage or cancel an active subscription. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period. Review the Refund and Cancellation Policy for current terms.
